Learn my techniques to create beautiful textured collage papers Every lesson will combine collage making technique demonstrations as well as time to practice so you can immediately try these out and ask questions in real time.
Develop your Unique Visual Language We will experiment and play with creative exercises designed to help you develop your unique visual language.
Use the beautiful papers you paint in class to create a one of a kind collage painting After crafting your unique papers we’ll discuss choosing adhesives, layering, balance, composition, and the visual rhythm that turns the cut and torn paper pieces into a cohesive artwork.
Learn in a small, nurturing group There will be maximum 5 students in a class so you learn in a friendly welcoming environment and can get all your questions answered during the lessons.
Weekly PDFs I’ll send PDFs before the course starts with a list of suggested supplies and materials plus a weekly summary of the lesson so you have a permanent record and reference during and after the course.


About Jane WilsonJane is a British process driven mixed media artist based in Cornwall who creates vibrant, joyful multi-layered paintings. Her work explores interconnectivity, both through the interplay of layers and media and the connections between the viewer, the wider world and the artwork itself.She grew up in London and studied printed textile design in Somerset before working in the fashion industry for many years. Her textile background is still visible in her art today by her use of colour, pattern and repeated motifs.She has had work accepted for The Royal Society of British Artists 2023 Bicentenary Exhibition, The Society of Wildlife Artists Natural Eye 2022 and 2023 exhibitions and was the winner of The Dry Red Press Award at The Royal Watercolour Society’s 2022 Exhibition.She lives and works in Looe, Cornwall and is a member of The Polperro Arts Foundation.
